BHF-BANK supports the Frankfurt Red Cross in its important work of caring for the elderly, sick and disabled, and of promoting understanding between different cultures and keeping rescue equipment readily available for emergencies.The Red Cross not only responds immediately to major catastrophes such as the tsunami at the end of 2004; it can also be relied upon to help individuals who have suffered misfortunes. After all, anyone can get into serious difficulties at any time. That is why it is good to know that the Red Cross is always ready to offer prompt and professional help.
To support the Red Cross's important work, Dietmar Schmid, former member of our Board of Managing Directors, has taken on the honorary position of Treasurer of the local Red Cross organisation in Frankfurt am Main.
